About Us

VivaSistah is born out of the need to see representation of young black girls as superheroes. Most characters are modeled after gods and warriors and, in the beginning, most were modeled after men. But heroism lies in in all of us. These designs are for the black girls who want to celebrate their own story loud and proud. Our collection shines with culturally affirming clothing designed to spark pride, self-expression and the fearlessness that we have embodied over the centuries. We are standing up strong and standing out on our own terms. Our heroism shows up every day when we own the moment. The designs are testimony to our strength and perseverance. Hopefully Super Sistah will inspire more young girls and teens to step into their own power. This brand was started in 2020 and we are just beginning to inspire.
